Privacy policy
In short
- No account: no name, no email, no phone number.
- No location tracking, no targeted advertising, no advertising trackers.
- Your favourites stay on your phone.
What we process
- Notification identifier, only if you accept notifications: it is used to send you the day's programme, and partner offers only if you turned them on (the bell on the home screen). It stops being used when you turn notifications off or uninstall the app; it is erased 12 months later, or on request.
- IP address and browser type: our hosting providers see them when the app or this website loads the programme, and keep them for a few days in their technical logs.
- Anonymous usage statistics: which screens and event pages are opened, notifications tapped, shares, calendar additions. In the app they carry an identifier drawn at random on installation, used only to count users and gone with the app. On this website, with no identifier: the pages viewed, the site you came from and the link's campaign tag (utm) if any, clicks on events, venues, the map, the calendar and the store buttons. No name, IP address or location is recorded with them, and they are erased after 12 months.
- A single cookie on this website,
lang, set only if you pick FR or EN: it remembers your language for a year. No analytics or advertising cookie. - Organisers and partners: if you send us an event or buy a promotion, we keep your name, your contact details and what you sent (the flyer, read by an AI to fill in the event), for the time of the collaboration and what accounting rules require us to keep.
- Instagram messages: if you comment a keyword under one of our posts (« SOIRÉE », « SORTIE ») or message us, you get an automatic message, and your questions about the programme get an answer written by an AI from our listings. Your messages stay on Instagram; we keep only our answers, for 12 months. A request that is not about going out is read by the team.
Service providers
This data may be processed outside Switzerland, in particular in the European Union and the United States, by the services that run the app: Railway (server and database), Hetzner (automated tasks and backups, in Finland), Expo, Google and Apple (notifications), Google (maps, venue information and photos, this website's fonts), Cloudflare (this website), Anthropic (reading the flyers organisers send us, answering Instagram messages), Zernio (our Instagram posts and messages). Event images come from their organisers' websites, which see your IP address when your device loads them.

Deleting your data
MyLausanne has no accounts: on our servers your phone is only known by the notification identifier and the anonymous statistics identifier, neither of them tied to your name.
- Right away, from your phone: turn off MyLausanne's notifications in your settings, or uninstall the app. The identifier then stops being used. Uninstalling also erases your favourites, which only live on the phone, and the statistics identifier: a reinstall draws a new one.
- On request: write to [email protected] with the subject "Deletion". We erase the notification identifier within 30 days. As it is not tied to any name, we erase along with it every identifier that no longer receives notifications.
- What remains: the anonymous statistics, erased after 12 months, which say nothing about you. The IP addresses recorded by our hosting providers in their technical logs are erased on their own after a few days.
